Despite what most people think, your education doesn’t stop when you leave school. In actual fact, I believe that’s where your real education begins. After all, school/college just gives you the fundamentals to actually learn and apply everything to come over the next ~60 years.
As i often quote, the average CEO reads 52 books per year or 1 book per week. Coincidentally, the average CEO also earns far more than the average person… go figure 🤔.
So, investing in education on a daily and weekly basis shouldn’t be seen as anything but a benefit and profit driver, as you can guarantee it’ll allow you to earn far more throughout the rest of your life.
There’s multiple forms of education you should be doing. Obviously, a big one is specific continued education in your industry or craft (if you are in fitness, go and learn more about fitness, if you are a chef, go and take more courses or learn more techniques, etc).
Next, you should continually develop your overall mindset, motivation, work ethic and goals. I recommend this to everyone, as it’ll have a profound impact on your life regardless of your job role or position.
After these two, you may further education and develop yourself in areas of weaknesses or other areas of interest. For example, relationship, personal development, finance, fitness/health etc etc.
Try to commit to weekly education and realise that it will directly correlate to your success and earnings in life. If you believe it’s not important or that it was over once you left college, well, you’ve already lost…
